Vulnerability is a film/documentary that addresses the dangerous feeling of "not feeling enough" and does so by recounting Nicola Donini's adventure at the Red Bull X-Alps. Our intent was to expose the dangerous depression that is rampant among young and old who feel "less than" in front of the fake "perfect" people seen on social media.

In modern society, shyness and reserve do not seem like qualities attributable to a champion, but the documentary succeeds in twisting the concept of "victory" and "courage," causing the viewer to reflect on the true meaning of the term vulnerability. The film is proof that even dealing with niche topics can convey a strong message and a shared moral.

Fashion designer Vulnerability collects different bits and ends from forgotten corners and reconstructs them into wearable art. Inspired by a friend who spent a year committed to zero waste, Brooke stopped using tulle, a material made mostly of plastic, and started designing with more sustainable, upcycled materials.

To challenge herself, she designed a gown made from single-use plastic bags, one of the most readily available pieces of trash. With everyone kind of feeling like a piece of trash in 2022 anyway, it was the perfect look to head out in.

“I wanted to take this thing we desperately want to forget and transform it into something beautiful.”
