We believe in the power of imperfection.

Uptelling was born from a simple idea: the most powerful stories are the ones that are true.

The percentage of coming back clients. Not because they have to. Because they want to. From The North Face to Red Bull, from Timberland to Napapijri — the numbers tell the story.

How long does a video production take from brief to delivery?

It depends on the format. A TV commercial or branded film typically takes 6 to 10 weeks from brief to final delivery — including concept development, pre-production, shoot and post-production. A documentary is a longer journey: 3 to 12 months depending on scope, locations and the story itself. Whatever the format, we give you a clear timeline at the start and we stick to it. Pre-production is where we earn that promise.

Do you work with clients outside Italy?

Yes — and we do it regularly. We’ve shot in Switzerland, France, Austria and across Europe, and we’re set up to work with international clients from brief to delivery entirely remotely when needed. Language is not a barrier: we work fluently in Italian and English across all stages of production.

We already have a creative concept. Can you handle just the production?

Absolutely. Some clients come to us with a fully developed concept and need a crew that can execute it at the highest level. Others come with nothing more than a feeling and need us to develop the story from scratch. We’re comfortable at both ends of that spectrum — and everywhere in between. Tell us where you are and we’ll figure out the best way to work together.

What kind of brands do you typically work with?

We work best with brands that have something real to say — and the courage to say it honestly. Our portfolio includes global outdoor and lifestyle brands like The North Face, Red Bull, Timberland and Napapijri, as well as independent productions, non-profits and corporate clients across Italy and Europe. What they all have in common is a belief that a well-told story is worth the investment.

How do you handle productions in remote or extreme locations?

It’s one of our core strengths. Our team has trained specifically for high-altitude and extreme-condition shoots — we followed an athlete across 1,238km of the Alps for the Red Bull X-Alps documentary Vulnerability, which meant shooting in snow, rain and sub-zero temperatures for weeks. We carry equipment designed for outdoor and remote production, and we build contingency planning into every shoot from day one. If the location is difficult, we’re probably more comfortable there than most crews would be anywhere.
